At Maevean, we love bringing you into a one-of-a-kind process! We’re here to hand-craft exactly what you dreamed of.

What’s the process?

Our custom orders start with you! Reach out to us about what you’re looking for and we’ll go from there!

Before any orders are taken, we’ll email you our Customer Order Agreement to sign, then move on to designing your piece, placing your order with a deposit (typically 50%), ordering stones as applicable, and finally handcrafting your piece. The final amount of your order cost will be due with shipping prior to your order being sent out.

How long does it take?

Every original order is unique (that’s the basis of this process, right?) but most of our orders take a week to design and 3-4 weeks to hand-craft.

However, factors such as holiday season rush, specialty gem sourcing, and especially complex designs may push this timeline back. Please make your timeline known when you first reach out.

Where is it made?

All Maevean jewelry is made on the New England coast of the USA!

Can you use my stones?

We have a strong preference in sourcing our own stones to assure quality, legitimacy, and ethical purchasing. However, we have made exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

Before inquiring, please be aware that we cannot insure or guarantee against damage on heirloom stones.

What will it cost?

Every piece will have a different answer, but our custom orders start at $300 in silver and $975 in gold. This is before any gemstones or special processes come into play.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Because custom orders are unique and made specially for you, they can not be returned or exchanged.
